New site: The Pirate Jiggy!
June 27, 2006 — duckieOkay, so this is about a week late, but SMILING PEANUT is proud to present the latest website/journal/foo member of its collective family: The Pirate Jiggy!
The site is, of course, named for my hetero life-mate and partner-in-crime, Jake (otherwise known as Jiggy, otherwise known as Master of Harris). I’ve been promising him his own site for the longest now, and it seemed silly to wait any longer.
I may get projects done about six months late, but hey, at least they get done!

Two weeks from twenty.
January 29, 2006 — duckieI’m always hesitant to sleep the first nite in a new home. A bit difficult to get used to, I think. And, well, to be honest, I’m always somewhat scared the first nite, and that’s why I’m sitting here instead of lying in bed.
But the majority of the moving is done. There are bits to do here and there, such as clothes and whatnot, but the hard part is over. My hands are dry and cracking, as are most of my bones and muscles. My back has been spasming for the better part of the evening. I know it’s all downhill from here, but I still feel uneasy.
Oh well. Guess I should try out this sleeping thing.
