About Me

My name is Chris, also known as Duckie in some circles. I hail from Fort Collins, Colorado, where I share a mostly-clean apartment with the hetero-life-mate, known also in some circles as Jiggy.

As of this writing, I am twenty-three years old. By day, I am a Retail Sales Representative (hopefully being promoted soon) for the fourth largest wireless carrier in the US. Also as of this writing, I am wearing pajama pants with Brian from "Family Guy" on them. For those of you wondering, I am in a committed relationship with a wonderful person who's much better than I deserve.

About This Site

duckie.wordpress is an extension of my main website/journal/whatever, better known as Retrospecticus.org, which is where most of my serious writing resides. This website began on September 20, 2005 as a gift from the fine folks over at WordPress.com, who provide the hosting and the software.

So far, the purpose of duckie.wordpress is to be an area for less-than-serious writing, musings, etc. I don't like to publish random whatnots over at Retro, so this place should serve nicely. (Always serve with a pickle on the side.)

While duckie is a nickname that was given to me nearly three years ago, the specific title of this site comes from domesticat, a friend of yours truly, webnerd and tender of geeks. Her writing is much better than mine — you should definitely be reading that instead of the drivel here.

Well, perhaps you like drivel? Then I guess you're in the right place! At any rate, welcome to duckie's home away from home. Please wipe your feet.
